Whenever friends of mine visit other countries I expect them to give me the low-down on current fashion upon their return. You see due to the cold, and a general aversion to change, Toronto fashion trends move at a snail’s pace. So if you want to know what’s what you’ve got to look elsewhere. Apparently fur is big in the U.K. right now. Which is cool you know, Canadians should totally get on board with this trend. In fact I’m shocked that we didn’t get the fur ball rolling sooner. We’re the ones dealing with -26 (-14 F) weather forecasts, not some lite drizzle and brisk wind nonsense that makes people say “blimey” or “beastly out there innit?”. It’s like Canada invented flannel shirts and the bay blanket and called it a day. Well get ready because next year will be the rebirth of Canada, Fashion Leader. Expect something good, possibly in the form of a flannel shirt blanket.
